Mom Wellness Group: The Mental Load of Motherhood
Mom Wellness Group: The Mental Load of Motherhood

Monday, September 21, 2026 | 7:00–8:00 PM
Free Virtual Group | Registration Required
Motherhood often involves carrying the invisible responsibilities of family life. From managing schedules and anticipating needs to remembering the countless details that keep a household running, the mental load can feel overwhelming and isolating.
Join us for this month’s Mom Wellness Group as we explore The Mental Load of Motherhood. Through conversation, reflection, and psychoeducation, we’ll discuss the unseen work many mothers carry and create space for validation, support, and connection.
This free virtual gathering is designed to provide a welcoming environment where moms can connect with others who understand the challenges and joys of motherhood. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, raising young children, or parenting through different stages of life, you are welcome here.
During this session, we’ll explore:
- Understanding the mental load and invisible labour of motherhood
- Recognizing the emotional impact of carrying so much responsibility
- Identifying ways to communicate needs and seek support
- Practicing self-compassion amidst the pressures of motherhood
- Connecting with other moms in a supportive and understanding space
The Mom Wellness Group is educational and supportive in nature and is not group therapy. Participation in discussions is always optional, and attendees are encouraged to engage at a level that feels comfortable.
