Relax, rejuvenate and restore with this workshop. Learn how mindfulness and yoga can be restorative, positively impacting your mental health and overall well-being. Take an opportunity to engage in guided practice of mindfulness, mindful meditation and restorative yoga.
Kameela Osman, Clinical Social Worker/Psychotherapist, will be leading the mindful portion of the workshop. Presenting psycho-education regarding the impact mindfulness and yoga can have on mental health. She will also be guiding mindful practice and mindful meditation practice throughout.
Sarah Griffin, Yoga Instructor and Wellness Educator, will be leading the restorative yoga portion of the workshop. Instructing a gentle Hatha based restorative yoga class to connect the mind, body and spirit using different poses and breath to help release stress and tension in the body throughout the class.
