The Relationship Side of Parenthood: Understanding Resentment After Baby
REGISTRATION CLOSED – this workshop will be offered again! Email kosman@elitec-c.com to be notified the next time this workshop is offered.

Pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood can impact relationships in ways many couples don’t fully anticipate. Resentment often develops quietly over time through stress, exhaustion, shifting roles, unmet expectations, emotional disconnection, and the many unseen changes that come with becoming parents.
This psychoeducational workshop explores why resentment can emerge after baby, how it impacts emotional connection, and ways couples can begin moving toward greater understanding, repair, and reconnection before disconnection deepens.
Participants will explore:
- Why resentment commonly develops postpartum
- Early warning signs of growing disconnection
- The emotional impact of unresolved resentment
- Common relationship stressors during pregnancy and postpartum
- Practical ways to support emotional attunement, communication, and reconnection
This workshop is designed to feel validating, non-blaming, and hopeful while helping couples better understand the emotional side of parenthood.
